JESSICA WALSH

Jessica Walsh is an American designer, art director, illustrator, and educator. Her vibrant and bold work inspires me deeply, her bright, eye-catching branding has a unique ability to capture attention, which is something I’m passionate about as a designer. As she once said, “A great brand is like a great person: true and honest about who they are, unafraid to show their true colours.”
ALEX TROCHUT

Alex Trochut is a Spanish artist, graphic designer, illustrator, and typographer whose work truly captivates me and has earned international recognition. His bold and distinctive branding makes a strong impact, perfectly suited to the major brands he collaborates with.
MALIKA FAVRE

Malika Favre is a French illustrator and graphic artist based in Barcelona. Her work is a mixture of pop art and op art and I really like the simplicity of her bold and aesthetic designs. They are minimalistic, yet work really well for multiple different types of branding and advertising. While not exclusively focused on sustainability, Malika is an advocate for ethical design and has worked with eco-conscious brands.
ARIES MORROSS

Aries Moross is an English graphic designer, artist, illustrator and art director based in London. Their work is one of the first I was inspired by when being initially interested in design. Their vibrant and colourful work is what makes it unique to them. It’s about self-expression and a lack of self-consciousness about what other people think which I think is a positive message in design and general. Moross and their team are also passionate about making eco-conscious decisions when it comes to their work process.
ELIZABETH GOODSPEED

Elizabeth Goodspeed is an independent designer, art director, and writer specialising in branding, packaging, and book and editorial design. I like how she’s independent so all her work is unique to her particular style and design. Her work on “its nice that” caught my attention about signage and how design exists beyond our screens.
LOUNA HUMBERT

Louna Humbert is a freelance art director and graphic designer based in Paris. Her work spans editorial design, digital media, websites, photography, typography, branding, video, and visual identity. As a freelancer, she often describes how no two days are ever the same, constantly juggling a diverse range of projects. This dynamic approach really resonates with me, I admire how she embraces variety in her work and never experiences creative burnout.
LILA THEODOROS

Lila Theodoros is Creative Director & Founder at studio Muse Muse in Australia. She has been part of custom print and branding projects for clients all over the world. Completely self-taught, the designer has been playing with editorial layouts and visual identities for over 20 years and she finds that “these two strands of design are incredibly complementary to one another”. I chose her as someone to look into as I was already interested in Muse Muse and have a strong passion to travel/work in Australia.
VERÒNICA FUERTE

Verònica Fuerte founded the renowned, Barcelona based, Hey in 2007. The studio’s work is epitomised by bold vibrant colour, elegant geometric simplicity, and a conceptual approach which has led Hey to become one the most recognised names in the design world. This bold approach to work reminds me of other artists like Aries Moross and Malika Favre, yet Fuerte also has her own unique touch.
SARAH SALOMÉ DELÉTAIN

Sarah Salomé Delétain is a French graphic designer, her eco-conscious editorial work revolves around local and rural practices, advocating for environmental initiatives and taking care of nature. I like how she uses eco-feminism in her work(a combined inspiration of feminism and ecology) as these are two things I am passionate about myself.
EDDIE OPARA

Eddie Opara is a multi-faceted designer whose work encompasses strategy, design and technology. I like how he’s worked in a variety of different areas of design and how he’s done things like interactive installations as many other packaging designers don't do this or only focus on one thing.
